Through October 31, 2015, you will receive a 20% bonus when you transfer your Marriott hotel points to American Airlines miles. Aside from Starwood, I typically think transferring miles from a hotel loyalty program to an airline program is a bad deal. With Marriott, the transfer ratios are poor, but there is one scenario where it can actually make sense!

When transferring your points normally without this package deal, you won’t get even close to a 1:1 transfer ratio. With the options above, you can spend anywhere between 50,000 to 120,000 points to get the corresponding number of airline miles. And those miles will also receive the 20% bonus!

Remember though, this option is only good for those looking to redeem for a 7 night hotel stay at the same hotel.
