Thanks to Pizza in Motion for pointing out that Costco’s are selling discounted gift cards to Gaylord Hotels. While this might not be too enticing for many of you, since there aren’t many Gaylord Hotels globally, they are owned by Marriott and the gift cards can be used at Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels too!

You can purchase these gift cards at select Costcos stores or online at Costcos.com. Essentially it is 2 $50 giftcards you are purchasing for $79.99, thus giving you 20% off. Also, if you are an Executive member, you’ll get an additional 2% off. These can be used on anything that is billed to your room, including room rate, activities, dining, incidentals, etc. Enjoy!

  1. I’m getting “Due to inventory changes, item 965735 in your cart is no longer available. This item cannot be purchased at this time.”

  2. I checked this morning and they were sold out, but then they replenished so I bought some. The details say that you can use them at “participating” Marriotts and Ritz Carltons. I sure hope that it does not turn out to be the case that no one but Gaylord is participating.

    Thanks for the tip!
