Jetsetter just announced it was joining the Black Friday party although it is not a set dollar or percentage off hotel reservations. Instead you need to input promo code MYSTERY upon checkout to see your discount. I tried a handful of random hotels and found that this code gave me 5% off across the board. The promotions states that the “mystery” savings changes based on the hotel booked and can be used through end of day Sunday November 30, 2015.

Screen Shot 2015-11-27 at 12.46.13 PMWhile some sort of saving is better then nothing, you can ALWAYS get 5% off a Jetsetter hotel reservation by using the code GIVE5. Hopefully though there are many other hotels giving way more then 5% off. This is not nearly as good as last years Black Friday promotion where you could get up to $60 off.

Combining with an Amex Offer…

You can also double your savings by using a registered American Express credit card to receive an additional $20 statement credit. This is currently an Amex Offer (related blog postwhere if you spend $100 or more in a single transaction you’ll receive a $20 statement credit. If you have multiple registered Amex credit cards, you’ll have to purchase a Jetsetter gift card first (for $100) and then use multiple gift cards on your hotel reservation. You can search and book a Jetsetter hotel here.
