Delta is offering discounted award tickets for those looking to fly to Europe between March 4 and May 31, 2016. This is a two day sale, so unfortunately you only have today and tomorrow to make your reservation (must book by February 18, 2016). There are a few blackout dates depending on the route you are looking to fly. You can learn more about this limited time sale and the specific terms and conditions here.

While an award sale is always great, this is available only for those who have one of the Delta credit cards or Delta status (Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond).

Discounted Awards

During this sale, you can book an economy seat for just 42,000 miles roundtrip. There are 18 routes available for this sale which include:

  • Atlanta, GA (ATL) to Brussels, Belgium (BRU) or Stuttgart, Germany (STR), or Zurich, Switzerland (ZRH)
  • Boston, MA (BOS) to Amsterdam, Netherlands (AMS) or London-Heathrow, United Kingdom (LHR)
  • Detroit, MI (DTW) to Frankfurt, Germany (FRA) or Rome, Italy (FCO)
  • Minneapolis, MN (MSP) to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, France (CDG)
  • New York-Kennedy, NY (JFK) to Nice, France (NCE)
  • Newark, NJ (EWR) to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, France (CDG)
  • Seattle, WA (SEA) to London-Heathrow, United Kingdom (LHR) – this route requires 48,000 miles roundtrip

For those looking to fly on one of these routes, this could be a great way to redeem your miles for less. Remember though, this is off peak times so paying for a flight might actually not be that expensive if you are low on Delta miles.
