Daily Getaway Previews are Here… Discounted Travel Opportunities!

About a month ago I posted that the Daily Getaway were coming back and would start April 4, 2016. These Daily Getaways include 5 weeks of deals (a new deal every Monday thru Friday) and are primarily travel related. They range from hotel stays, to car rentals, to attraction passes, to purchasing points. Unfortunately though, the Daily Getaways have become extremely popular and getting on some of the good deals is like winning the lottery. They are pure luck and you will need to be at your computer the second they go on sale. This isn’t the case for all the deals, but some of the better ones.

Overall, the deals look very similar to last year (thus far) with not that many new ones added. The number available have increased slightly, but not for all deals. They just launched the first two weeks to preview which include the cost and limited number available. Here are what the first three weeks look like:

Week 1:

Week 2:

Screen Shot 2016-03-28 at 11.20.21 AMAt the beginning of each week I will list out all the offers for the week as a reminder and every morning for the five weeks I will include a detailed analysis for that particular deal. Overall, most of the offers are not very enticing for me, but there are a few select ones that I personally think are great deals. Although those are the ones that will sell out in seconds.

  1. Next to impossible to get any good deal. I tried to buy a couple last year the second they opened up for sale and got the “sold out” response a second after sale opened up. Was a complete waste of time.

    • @Mike – I hear ya. I’ve been able to get lucky on some, but definitely will not organize my day around trying to snag a deal.
