Earn $10 Just for Trying Birchbox

Swagbucks, an online shopping cash back site, has a great offer today for those interested in trying out Birchbox. You’ll receive 2,000 Swagbucks (equivalent to $20 in gift cards) for signing up. Birchbox just costs $10 a month (you just pay month by month), so the $20 earned minus the $10 spent the first month will net you $10 (although given back to you in gift cards, not cash). Also, if you are new to Swagbucks you’ll get an extra $3 in your account. You can sign up for Swagbucks, review the offer, and then subscribe to Birchbox here.

What is Birchbox?

Birchbox is a subscription based service that will deliver you five beauty samples tailored to your skin, hair, and style. Every month you’ll receive five different products to try. I personally have never used Birchbox as I am not so into those monthly subscription companies that send you new products to try out, but I know they are very popular amongst many people.

What is Swagbucks?

Swagbucks is an online shopping portal where you will earn Swagbucks (SBs) for making online purchases. This is a similar to Ebates, TopCashBack, BeFrugal, etc.

Where Swagbucks differs from some of the other shopping portals is that you are not earning points, miles, or cash back, but instead Swagbucks that you can use to redeem for a variety of gift cards.

Their redemption options are also extremely favorable! Essentially each SB can be valued at about 1 cents, so every 500 SBs equals a $5 gift card. So if you have 10,000 SBs, for example, you should be able to cash out for a $100 gift card! Gift cards are typically in $10, $15, $25, $50, $75, $100 increments and depends on the merchant. And sometimes gift cards are even on sale. For example, many times you can redeem 450 SBs for a $5 Amazon.com gift card. There is also a Paypal option, so thats an easy way to get actual cash.

    • And need a cancellation after the review stinker bomb they dropped this summer! I don’t know if this will bring me back though.

  1. Do you know if you can also take advantage of the “Free Gift with Subscription” offer that appears on the Birchbox page that opens when I click on the offer from SB? (Code is EXTRABB)
