20% Bonus with TopCashBack + Combine with Neiman Marcus Money Making Deal!

Today only (so for the next few hours only), TopCashBack.com is offering a 20% bonus on their existing payouts. TopCashBack.com is an online shopping portal where you earn a certain percentage of cash back by going through their site first then making the purchase. Unlike some of the other cash back rebate sites, you can cash out your earned money at any point, you do not need to hit a certain minimum threshold (i.e., some of them require you to have at least $25 to cash out). It literally takes just a few extra seconds to do all your shopping and you are taken directly to the merchants site to shop and checkout. There are actually MANY merchants paying out 9.6% for all purchases which is pretty amazing! If you plan on doing any shopping this evening, I suggest checkout out this site. If you are new to this site (and concept of an online shopping portal) real below.

Maximizing with the Neiman Marcus Money Making Deal

Earlier today, I wrote about an awesome offer to actually make money on the Neiman Marcus Amex Offer. The Amex Offer will give you a $50 statement credit on a $200+ purchase. You can purchase a $200 e-gift card (physical gift cards come with a $5 shipping fee, so you do not want that). You can then sell that $200 gift card to a few gift card resell sites, such as Cardpool or ABC Gift Cards. Cardpool definitely accepts e-gift cards and I am almost positive ABC Gift Cards does as well, I just need to check it out myself tonight or tomorrow morning. I will report back.

While gift card purchases are excluded from many being paid out from many online shopping portals, there is a chance that you might be paid out on the Neiman Marcus purchase. Some prior readers have stated that they’ve been paid out in the past for Neiman Marcus gift card purchases, so you might be in luck. If that is the case, your $200 purchase will earn you an extra $19.20 which is awesome!

Ultimately, with this money making deal, you can potentially make approximately $17 on selling the gift card and another $19.20 by going through an online shopping portal. That is a $36.20 profit for every single eligible American Express credit card you have. Between my husband and I, we have 9 eligible cards. That means potentially a $325.80 profit! Of course, some things to keep in mind include: 1) the re-sale sites might not offer as much to purchase your gift card; 2) online shopping portals might not pay out. Although, some of these gift card re-sale sites actually will pay you more if you opt to take another form of payment, i.e., Amazon gift card, Hotels.com gift card, etc.

How Does TopCashBack.com Work?

  • First, register for topcashback.comUnfortunately, right now there is no bonus to signing up through their site, although the referrer will receive a $10 bonus once the new member earns $10 in payable credits. Feel free to leave your referral link in the comments section below.
  • Search for the online shopping store you are looking for. Remember, not every store is on this site. Also, make sure to take a look at a few of the online shopping portals to see which one gives you the best offer. (Note: These screen shots were taken awhile ago so do not reflect the accurate cash back at Radisson hotels!).
  • TopCashBack BonusSome merchants give a different cash back amount based on the product. Also, many times they state that the purchase of gift cards are excluded (although there are times when those purchases slip through the cracks).

  • Once you click the “Get Cashback Now” button, you will be taken directly to the merchants website. Tracking codes in the URL are able to figure out where you came from and thus give commission to the site who sent you there (while I am not a tech person so do not fully understand the ins and outs of this, I promise it works!).

Essentially, this takes probably an extra 1 minute of your time to ultimately book your travel or purchase an item from the exact same website you would have originally! No coupons needed and you get a discount on your purchase, not too shabby, right?! Enjoy your extra savings!

  1. An additional note: Amex Blue Cash gives 2% back on purchases at Neiman Marcus. Jusy another little hidden gem about this deal. And yes abcgiftcard does accept e-gift cards from NM.

    • I sold the cards to ABC but it’s asking me for mailing the physical cards now… I’ve never sold to them before. Is that just the standard message and I don’t have to worry about it?

  2. I considered this as well, but the TopCashBack terms of service (like many other cashback portals) state that you may not get cash back on the purchase or redemption of gift cards. 🙁

  3. TopCashBack has my “Cashback” on gift card purchases from last night in Pending status. $19.20 for each purchase of $200, payable in 5 weeks
