Last Day to Book JetBlue Flights on Points with a 25% Discount

Three day ago, JetBlue came out with a great promotion for those looking to use their JetBlue TrueBlue points. Through the end of day today, you can book a point reservation with a 25% discount, no code needed. The discount is already baked into the number of points required for a free flight. This is for travel September 3 through November 7, 2017. This is a great promotion for those with JetBlue points and definitely makes sense to use points vs. paying for a flight. With JetBlue the number of points required to redeem for a free flight are directly tied to the cost of the flight (although it is not an exact fixed rate). If you are looking for more JetBlue points, you can always transfer your American Express Membership Rewards points to your JetBlue TrueBlue account if you need to top off an award.

Remember, you have 24 hours to cancel a flight after it is booked for a full refund if you want to “book now and figure it out later.” If your plans are flexible, use the JetBlue Fare Finder which will give you the cheapest price for every day of the month.

Already booked a flight and the price went down?

Also, if you’ve booked a flight in the past 14 days using points and the number of points has decreased, call JetBlue and let them know the the number of points required has reduced. I recently wrote an entire blog post related to getting your points back, so make sure to read that post and follow the directions. Also, if you are a JetBlue Mosaic member, you can cancel for free (regardless of when you booked) and rebook at the lower cost.
