1,500 Bonus Amex Membership Reward Points at Sam’s Club with Amex Offers

Amex Offers just launched a new promotion where you can earn 5x bonus points by shopping at Sam’s Club with your registered American Express credit card. This is a great offer for those looking to shop at Sam’s Club in-store only between now and the end of the year. Unfortunately though you are capped at earning 1,500 bonus points. Since this is an Membership Reward earning promo and not a statement credit offer, you’ll only see this card on your Membership Reward earning cards (such as Amex EveryDay, Amex Platinum, etc.). It also might be targeted so you still might not even see it on those cards.

While I do not shop at Sam’s Club often since there isn’t one too close to my home, I do have a Sam’s Club Membership due to the amazing Amex Offer from earlier this year!

Remember, Sam’s Club sells many other merchants gift cards at a discount! For example, Sam’s Club sells $150 Disney gift cards and $150 Southwest gift cards for $142.98. While not a huge savings, it is still something and then you can earn the bonus points on top of that! They also sell a bunch of other gift cards that are 20% off, including California Pizza Kitchen, Coldstone Creamery, Regal Cinemas, etc.

To enroll in this offer:

  • Sign into your AmericanExpress.com account and go to the “Amex Offers For You” tab. Find the Sam’s Club offer and make sure to select the “Add to Card” button (although once you do this for one card the option will disappear on other cards so make sure to do the multi-browser trick to learn how to register multiple Amex cards with your AmericanExpress.com account)

I recommend enrolling sooner than later to ensure it does not reach maximum capacity.
