You Can Earn a Total of 4,000 Bonus Miles by Shopping Online

A few days ago I wrote about a few bonus opportunities while shopping online for United, Delta, and Alaska Airlines. Last week I also wrote about an American Airlines offer. If you take advantage of all four bonus offers this will net you 4,000 bonus miles amongst all four airlines. While this is significantly lower then recent bonuses, it is still something, especially if you were going to shop online anyways.

  • United: Earn up to 1,500 bonus miles (expires December 17, 2017)
  • Delta: Earn 500 bonus miles (expires December 17, 2017)
  • Alaska AirlinesEarn 500 bonus miles (expires December 17, 2017)
  • American Airlines: Earn up to 1,500 bonus miles (expires December 17, 2017)

To earn the maximum number of miles will require you to spend a total of $1,000 ($350 with United, $350 with American, $150 with Alaska, and $150 with Delta). If you have some purchases over the next few weeks, I suggest seeing if you can maximize as many of the portal bonuses as possible. Remember, these bonuses are also in additional to the normal miles you’d receive anyways by going through one of the online shopping portal sites first.

What is an online shopping portal?

I know for many people, the concept of an online shopping portal is extremely foreign. However, I want to ensure you that it is an extremely simple process and literally takes an extra minute to complete your shopping purchase. If you are not familiar with these portals, they are an online websites that you go to first, search for the store, and then you are taken directly to the desired merchants website. You then continue to shop at that merchant the same exact was as if you went to the site first. Your purchase is tracked in the background and you’ll then earn points, miles, or cash back (depending on the site used) for your purchase. There is absolutely no reason not to earn these extra points/miles or free money!
