50,000 Bonus Points with the Brand New American Express Gold Card!

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners, such as American Express. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

Information about this card has been collected independently by Deals We Like. The issuer did not provide the details, not is it responsible for their accuracy.

The much anticipated American Express Gold Card came out today and while the publicly available offer is at a somewhat wear 25,000 points, there are actually 50,000 point offers available via referral links (minimum spend is the same $2,000 within the first three months of cardmembership). While I will be posting more about the card later today or tomorrow, I’d like to get the 50,000 point link out there for anyone who is interested in applying now! Keep in mind this card is replacing the Premier Rewards Gold Card, so if you’ve had this card in the past you will not be eligible for the welcome bonus.

Steps to apply via the 50,000 point link through a referral

  • Click on my personal referral link to see almost all American Express credit cards
  • Click on the “View all Card with a Referral Offer” (you might have to swap to the personal cards view if you are on a business card referral).

  • Click on “All Personal Cards”

  • You’ll see the American Express Gold Card 50,000 point offer on the top row of the right-hand side

Overall, this is a great card for those who spend a lot at U.S. grocery stores and dine out at U.S. restaurants. Stay tuned for a post broadcasting the full benefits of this card, but for now just wanted to get the 50,000 point out there!

  1. If I send a link of one card I have but the person picks a card from another on the list do I get a referral bonus? From the card I don’t have?

As in I send a link for the gold rewards but person looks at the options and picks platinum (I no longer have platinum) do I get a referral bonus anyway?

    • @Miller508 – It is currently unclear, but it seems as though that would be the case. I am waiting on some real life reports.
