Amazing Deal on Luggage at eBags — Triple Dip with Amex Offers + Shopping Portal + Coupon Code

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners, such as American Express. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

Right now you can triple dip three different promotions to get an amazing deals at eBags — this can result in around a 50% savings! Also, if you are new to eBags you can set up an account here and get an extra $10 credit in your account!

Promotion #1: Amex Offer

There is currently an Amex Offer where you’ll receive a $20 statement credit on a $100+ purchase. All you have to do is use an eligible American Express credit card (it looks like this offer is widely available). The $20 credit will trigger on a cumulative purchase of $100 or more. Let’s say you make a $100 purchase on the nose, this will result in an automatic $20 savings.

Promotion #2: 20% Cash Back at TopCashBack

The online shopping portal TopCashBack is offering 20% cash back for the next two days. The great thing about this offer is that you’ll receive the cash back on the total amount spent with eBag regardless on any other cash back you receive, such as the Amex Offer. So a $100 purchase will get you $20 back in your TopCashBack account in addition to the $20 statement credit you use from promo #1

Promotion #3: 20% Discount with eBags

UPDATE: eBags is now offering 30% off site wide (one day only), however, I am not sure if you use that coupon code if you’ll still be able to get the 20% cash back with TopCashBack.

eBags is offering a 20% discount with the coupon code IMRGEN. In the example above, the $129 item ends up costing $103.99 after the 20% discount. Combine that with the Amex Offer and 20% cash back, that will put mean you are ultimately only spend just $63 ($20 statement credit on your Amex card and $20.80 cash back in your TopCashBack account). This ends up being a 50% savings on your original purchase! This coupon code is hardcoded into the site when you access it from TopCashBack so will still allow you to receive the 20% cash back from TopCashBack.

Of course the numbers above are in a perfect scenario, but even if you find a more expensive item, you’ll still be able to to take advantage of all the promotions.

Anyone able to find a good deal?

  1. Excellent deal!
Im looking at the Northface Surge backpack!
$96.71 after ebag 20% off so I need to add an item to get over $100.
Total would be about $70 after tax!

    thanks!

  2. Can you really combine the TopCashBack 20% with the eBags “Enjoy” promo code? The TopCashBack website has this clause:

“What could stop me from getting cash back: Using a promotional/coupon code not posted and approved by TopCashback.”

    • @Ed – If you go through TopCashBack it pre-loads the coupon code IMGREN and that code came directly from TopCashBack so should be fine. I updated the post to reflect the new code.

  3. it seems like Top Cash Back has it’s own 20% off promo code. Something like IMGREN was preloaded in the code field and I still got 20% off.

Thanks for the info. I used $10 in expiring Ebags bucks. So I got a $150 backpack for $70! Excellent Christmas present that will last for many years to come. I’m a valuist.

  4. I’ve had problems trying to stack promotions with ebags going through a portal (it might have been TopCashback) and ended up not getting an expected, and sizeable, rebate.
If you go through a portal you often get a different price than going directly to ebags and using their discount code. Caveat emptor.
