Last Day to Earn 1,500 Bonus Miles for Shopping Online

Three airline shopping portals are currently offering 500 bonus miles, for a total of 1,500 points. For those of you who are getting in some last minute shopping today (online), this is a great opportunity to earn some extra points and miles along the way! It literally takes an extra minute at most to earn these miles, so do not leave them on the table! These bonus offers are for cumulative spend and ends TODAY, Sunday December 16, 2018.

American Airlines – Earn up to 500 bonus miles

  • Spend $200, earn 500 bonus miles

United Airlines – Earn up to 500 bonus miles

Shop through the United MileagePlus shopping portal here.

  • Spend $200, earn 500 bonus miles

Alaska Airlines – Earn up to 500 bonus miles

Shop through the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan shopping portal here.

  • Spend $200, earn 500 bonus miles

While this promotion isn’t as great as the 13,500 bonus miles offers we saw back in November, it is still something for shopping you’d be doing anyways! And earning the 500 bonus miles isn’t too difficult since it only requires $200 in spent. I personally recommend picking your favorite program between Alaska, United, and American and starting with that portal first. After you purchase $200, move on to your 2nd favorite. I personally like earning Alaska miles when it comes to shopping portal bonuses since earning these miles is challenging due to the lack of transfer bonuses and there are some great hidden gems in their redemption program.

Which shopping portal bonus will you take advantage of? Happy shopping!
