Free Money with AT&T and Amex Offers

Another awesome Amex Offer is back and is one that almost everyone can take advantage of! While this offer comes around a few times of year, this is actually one of the better ones! All you have to do is spend $175+ with AT&T and you’ll receive a $100 statement credit. And the best part is that you can take advantage of this offer two times with your enrolled card! The terms state that this is for AT&T Wireless for Business payments, but many reports over the past year have shown that paying you personal AT&T bill has trigged the offer as well (we saw the exact same offer back in 2018).

Like all other Amex Offers, you’ll have to check your AmericanExpress.com account to see if you are eligible. Out of all of my American Express credit cards, I saw the offer on about 30% of them.

Since I am not an AT&T customer, I am not able to use it for my own bill, but I have already found an AT&T friend—I pay his bill with my credit card and we split the profit, win-win all around! If you are interested in helping out a friend or family member with AT&T and crediting their account with the $175 it is super easy. Even if their bill is paid in full, you can still apply the amount to use at a future date. With this particular offer, you must bay ONLINE directly at att.com/smallbusiness or through the AT&T app. Per the terms, it looks like paying over the phone will not trigger the statement credit. Remember, with this offer it must be a $175 in a single transaction, so if your AT&T bill is less than that, make sure to pay next months bill in advance.

Enjoy your extra savings!

HT: Thanks to Jason at MilesQuest for sending this deal my way!

  1. I pay my Att bill with my CIP for the insurance. Wouldn’t this deal leave me uninsured for at least the month or two in which I use it?

  2. Yes, this is on a few cards and on my Platinum business card it has spend $175 and earn 10,000 Membership Rewards points. Pretty good deal. The only time I wish I was on AT&T but will never switch from TMobile as I travel too much internationally.

  3. Bummer! I can’t believe it wasn’t on any of mine or my husband’s cards. We usually have it on at least one of our cards.
