Amazon Prime Day is set to take place on July 16, 2018! This will be their forth year offering this one day only deal which in my experience has deals similar to or even better then Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The deals start at 3pm ET and you’ll have a full 36 hours of shopping with new deals popping up as often as every 5 minutes. You can access the Amazon Prime Day page here.a poster for prime day

What are some of the deals for Amazon Prime Day 2018?

While they haven’t disclosed all of the Prime Day deals, they are having an early start on some deals leading up to this day.

Amazon has announced that their will be “more than one million deals exclusively for Prime members around the world, plus select deals at all U.S. Whole Foods Market stores.” I am personally excited to see what deals we will see at Whole Foods!

Based on previous years, I’m sure we will see some deals on Bose products, Xbox, Amazon Fire, Kindles, toys, shoes, etc. Those were some of the popular deals from the past few years.

You need an Amazon Prime account!

Unfortunately, the only way to gain access to the Amazon Prime Day deals is by having an Amazon Prime account, or using a friend/family members account who is an Amazon Prime member. If you do not have a prime membership, sign up for a free trial now! It will give you 30 days of free prime access. Typically, a membership costs $119 a year. Or, if you have a student e-mail address, you can get an Student Amazon Prime membership for half price or a free 6-month trial membership.
