Amtrak just came out with their Black Friday promotion, which they are coining “Track Friday” and offering 35% off train rides nationwide. This sale is for tickets purchased by Dec. 2, 2019 for travel Dec. 9, 2019 through April 30, 2020.
My family personally uses Amtrak quite often for trips between Boston and New York. Typically, the Northeast Regional fares are never lower than $49 one-way, but with this particular sale, I am seeing many $39 tickets. Even Acela trips are discounted as well.
If you take Amtrak often enough, or are traveling to a city where train travel would be beneficial, this Amtrak Black Friday promotion is worth looking into.
