Passports with Purpose is ending in 5 days, which means you only a few days left to win a 2-night free stay at the Affinia Hotel in Manhattan. As I have mentioned before, the Affinia Hotel in Manhattan was extremely generous and sponsored my blog participation in this fundraiser event. If a weekend stay in NYC is not of interest, make sure to still check out the Passports with Purpose website as there are MANY travel related prizes you can win. Prizes are all over the place ranging from luggage to an 8-day tour around Thailand! You can learn more about this fundraiser here, but ultimately a minimal donation of $10 will enter you into a raffle of your choice.

Unfortunately only one person will win the free 2-night stay at the Affinia Hotel Manhattan, but there are still some great rates to take advantage of. Rates at this hotel currently start at $179/night and are available through February 27, 2012. This hotel just underwent a huge renovation, and you can learn more about the hotel and the amenities in this prior blog post. These special winter rates include a VIP skating package for two at Citi Pond in Bryant Park, 10% Macy’s Savings Pass, two complimentary cocktails, and 20% off dinner at the hotel restaurant. To find out more about their “Miracle on 31st Street” getaway rates, visit or mention promotion code 31ST when calling reservations (1-866-246-2203).

Make sure to take a look at the Passports with Purpose website! I am having a hard time deciding which raffle to donate to. I know the main purpose is to give back, but to win some unbelievable travel prize would not be so bad either, right?! If you do donate, good luck with the raffle and keep me posted with any winnings!

  1. I just received an email that I won a prize! Am super skeptical though that it is a scam as I never usually win anything… Any others that have won?
