Hyatt just launched their new promotion where you can earn 2,500 bonus points after every 5 qualifying nights – with no cap to the number of points you can earn! The one caveat is that this promotion is only for stays at Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency hotels. Unfortunately, as of right now you will not be awarded any bonus points at the other brands under the Hyatt umbrella, such as Park Hyatt, Miraval, Hyatt, Andaz, Hyatt Centric, Unbound, Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Hyatt Zilara, and Hyatt Ziva.

Effective June 1, 2018, World of Hyatt members can earn 2,500 Bonus Points after every five qualifying nights at Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency hotels, with a checkout date ofAugust 31, 2018. Members must register by July 15, 2018 in order for qualifying nights to count toward earning Bonus Points in the promotion period. Make sure to register for this promotion by July 15, 2018.a screenshot of a websiteThis promotion is for checkout dates between June 1, 2018 and July 31, 2018. So if you have a stay towards the end of the promotional period, for example July 28-August 2, the entire stay will not count towards the promotion. Instead, you’ll want to book two different stays, one for July 28-July 31 and then another one for July 31-August 2, so at least the nights you are staying at the property during the promotional dates count towards the promotion.

While this is far from one of Hyatt’s better promotions, it is still something and bonus points can add up. It is definitely disappointing that they are limiting it to just Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency properties, but hopefully another promotion will come out soon which includes all Hyatt hotels.
