If you are looking to fly to Europe on miles, United is offering a nice discount where you can redeem just 45,000 miles for a roundtrip flight in coach! Originally this was targeted to just United credit card members and elite members, but has been opened up to everyone!
Some things to know:
- You must fly roundtrip. So unfortunately, if you are just looking at one-ways you will not be able to redeem 22,500 miles for just one-way. Although it works for open jaws (flying into one city and out of another city as long as it is booked in a single itinerary)
- Must book by June 28, 2016 for travel August 23, 2016 through March 31, 2017 (blackout dates: December 15, 2016 – January 8, 2017)
- Only flights operated on United are eligible, not partner operated flights even if booked through United
