Fly BOGO: Frontier’s “Friends Fly Free” is Back

Over the weekend, Frontier Airlines launched an awesome promotion where your friends can fly free for. This is in addition to their Kids Fly Free offer. This was a one day offer, but is now back for travel booked today and tomorrow (through May 1, 2019). They also extended the travel dates for flights flown May 6 – June 12 and August 12 – November 13, 2019. (Blackout dates: May 23-25, 27-28, 2019 and Aug. 29 – Sep. 3, 2019). I am hoping that similar to the Kids Fly Free promo, this “Friends Fly Free” offer ends up being a long term offer as well and allows friends to fly BOGO all year long! You can learn more about the promo here and use the promo code FLYFREE. Friday and Sunday are excluded from this promotion and there is a decent list of excluded routes.

The one major caveat to this promotion is that you must have a Discount Den membership which costs $59.99While many folks might already have this to get discounted fares or take advantage of the kids fly free promo, if you do not have this membership, definitely take the additional cost into consideration to see if this promotion actually saves you money. Fortunately though, the membership is valid for up to 6 passengers on the reservation. This means only one passenger has to have the membership.

It really is free!

When Frontier says that your friend will fly free, they truly mean F-R-E-E. You will not pay any additional taxes or fees on the free flight (unless you opt to pay for baggage or seat assignments). When you go to pay for your flights, you’ll see the discounted amount.

If anyone is able to take advantage of this awesome promotion, enjoy your incredibly discounted Frontier Flights!

  1. I’ve search dozens of Frontier airfares from Philadelphia and can’t find even one Friends Fly Free or Kids Fly Free fares, so has anyone landed one of these fares?
