Get 500 US Airways Miles + Mini Cell Phone Wallet for $5

I check out the US Airways Dividend Miles Daily Deal site often to see if there are any worth while deals to jump on. It is in my nature of Mrs. Deals to check out every deal-a-day site imaginable. Typically, there is little interest, except today. There is a mini-wallet for $4.95 that attaches to the back of your cell phone. I actually have a similar contraption for my phone that I bought off amazon for about the same price, but it is so great I am looking to get one for Mr. Deals. They are absolutely great for traveling so you do not have to carry your wallet or even purse and just take your few cards with you (license and a credit card). While I actually purchased this deal for the item, many might be interested in simply purchasing this for the 500 miles that come along with it. This is essentially purchasing a minimal amount of miles for 1 cent per mile that you’ll hopefully get a better value out of. Additionally, this will extend your miles (if you need to) for an additional 18 months. Similar to all of the other deals on this site, this sale ends today.

You must first sign up for the US Airways Daily Deal site. After registering and completing your first purchase you will receive 500 bonus miles. You will also receive 5 miles per dollar spent, thus giving you a grand total of 525 miles for this item (assuming you are new to this site). You can refer your friends as well and you both will receive 500 miles. If anyone wants to use my referral link it is always appreciated!

Also, when I checked out, it stated that the item was actually only $4, so maybe you’ll have the same luck and save a buck (and only get 520 miles)?! Once you make the purchase you will be given a voucher code to use on the actual vendors site itself. You are not actually purchasing the item through US Airways Daily Deal site, but just paying through this portal. Once purchased, you will immediately receive a deal code. Head over the vendors site and on the last page it will ask you for a Discount Code. Enter the deal code you received and viola, your item will go from $9.99 to free. There is no shipping fee either. You must claim the item on the vendors site by October 24, 2012.

I am actually excited to try out this mini-wallet. If it fails, it was only $4 or $5 and I received miles in return. Not a too shabby!

  1. The mini-wallet just made me feel unsafe. At least, I would not put my credit card on my phone like that. I might hold until some day some really useful item shows up (wish that is not forever).

    • @Rayn – I absolutely love my iphone case wallet, but I totally understand. I actually might like this concept better though so I can get a better case that is more protective and also have the wallet part.

  2. Except, when I tried to make the purchase, the price went from $9.99 to $4.98. Which is OK if DM Daily Deals didn’t actually charge my credit card. So now I’m waiting to see what actually posts…

  3. Thank you for the info on this. 500 miles for less than $5 is stellar. The fact that I get an item I might use is even better.

  4. Yeah, phone, wallet…any more eggs one can put into the proverbial pocket? At least if you’re using an electronic wallet on your phone it’s password protected if you’re going to keep them in the same spot/pocket. The ovine constituency rate this as a “baaaaad” idea.
