Hilton New York January 1-3 Pricing Error – Act Now!

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners, such as American Express. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

UPDATE #1: Looks like the fare is gone. Congrats to those who jumped on it. Now let’s see if they honor it!

UPDATE #2: Received an email from Hilton and they are not honoring the rate. They are however offering the following: Discounting the room 50% off the current rate – $109 + tax. If you booked a higher end room, your rate will be more. Additionally, they are extended either: (1) a 25% discount at our food and beverage outlets during your stay (for parties of up to 4 people); or (2) a 25% discount on our best available rate for one future room reservation during the period of January 1, 2012-March 31, 2012.

If you are planning to go to New York City around New Years, you can stay at the Hilton Times Square for $20 the night of January 1st and $30 the night of January 2nd. This is clearly a mistake in the system, so let’s see if they will honor it. If you are interested, I would absolutely act now before they notice this glitch. I booked this hotel and received the confirmation for $26.45 for the first night and $37.93 for the 2nd night!

Even if you live in the city, could be a fun experience just to stay in a hotel in Times Square (although I avoid it like the plague)!

    • Looks like the fare is gone 🙁

Good while it lasted, but will be interested to see if they even honor it, will keep you posted.

  1. looks like they don’t really have to honor it! The terms of reservation state that they can cancel the reservation if they think it occurred due to a mistake or an error!
    I wish they don’t though 😉

  2. for price error it is better to also the exact time the information is posted, so that people may get a better idea how long this kind of deal may last.

  3. I received an email several hours after booking stating that there was an error and they’d like to offer me 50% off the going rate for the room I booked ($259). They also offered either 25% off anything purchased at the hotel during my stay or 25% off a stay between Jan. 1 and March 31 at any Hilton property.

  4. Yep, I’m taking them up on it. Using 2 free nights at the Hyatt on 42 & Lex and walking over to the Hilton on New Years Day. Great find!
