Back in August, Hyatt announced a pretty awesome promotion at select properties for those looking to redeem their World of Hyatt points. There are two different promotions — one where you get a 25% rebate and another where you get a 25% discount on the cash portion when you redeem points + cash. I was recently looking into this promo for my own personal usage so I wanted to make sure to share this promotion in case you are not yet aware.

Points + Cash Sale

At select properties, you’ll save 25% off the “cash” portion when you book a Points + Cash award stay. You’ll automatically see the discount when you book your stay. This promotion expires October 31, 2019. Participating hotels include:

  • Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino
  • Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo
  • Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa
  • Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort
  • Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya
  • Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour
  • Park Hyatt Mallorca
  • Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

Stay at the Hyatt Baha Mar for less. And when you use points, you do not have to pay the high taxes or resort fees!

25% Rebate

At a different set of select properties, you’ll receive up to 25% back on the points you redeem (up to 30,000 points). You must have the full amount of points in your account to book the stay and then after completing your stay, you’ll receive the rebate back into your account within 6-8 weeks. This promotion expires November 30, 2019. Participating hotels include:

  • Grand Hyatt Athens — (costs 12,000 points; get 3,000 points back)
  • Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki — (costs 8,000 points; get 1,500 points back)
  • Hyatt Centric Milan Centrale — (costs 12,000 points; get 3,000 points back)
  • Park Hyatt Milan — (costs 30,000 points; get 5,000 points back)

  • Thompson Playa del Carmen Beach House — (costs 20,000 points; get 3,000 points back)
  • Thompson Playa del Carmen Main House — (costs 12,000 points; get 3,000 points back)
  • Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya — (costs 25,000 points; get 4,000 points back)
  • Hotel Hesperia Barcelona Tower — (costs 12,000 points; get 3,000 points back)
  • Hotel SOFIA Barcelona — (costs 20,000 points; get 3,000 points back)
  • Park Hyatt Mallorca — (costs 25,000 points; get 4,000 points back)

  • Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid — (costs 20,000 points; get 3,000 points back)

Overall…

Although this is off-peak for most of the properties and paid rights might be less expensive than the norm, this is still a great opportunity to save points at some incredible properties. Remember, you can still purchase Hyatt points at a 40% discount if you are low on points.
