UPDATE: This offer has expired.

American Express has increasing the bonus offer for referring a friend to sign up for the Starwood Amerian Express credit card. Typically, the referrer will receive 5,000 bonus points when a friend signs up through their link (and is approved), but through June 15, 2016, this bonus offer is doubled and you’ll receive 10,000 bonus points.

With that being said, the current offer for the Starwood American Express credit card is 25,000 points after meeting the minimum spend requirement (for both the personal and business version of the card). Just a few months ago, the offer was at an all time high of 35,000 points, so the current offer is by far nothing great. But, if you know someone to apply for this card now (regardless of the sign up offer), you might as well get some bonus points as well.

If you have the personal or business version of this card, you can refer a friend, family member, etc. to the respective card you have. You can do so by following the links below and sending a referral link to that person (make sure you are signed onto your Amex account to see the doubled bonus offer):

The terms state that you can earn a maximum of 55,000 bonus points by referring a friend and that it could take 6-8 weeks to see the points post to your account. If you are looking to apply yourself and do not have a friend/family member to refer you, here are my referral links. As always, thanks for the support!
