Purchase Best Western Reward Points at a Discount

Today’s Daily Getaway promotion (Day 13) is offering Best Western Rewards points at a discount. There is only one package that offers 10,000 Best Western Reward points for $67. Of course if you purchase with your American Express credit card you’ll get 10% off bringing the price down to $60.53. This is maxed at 5 packages per loyalty number, so you really can purchase up to 50,000 points if you so desire.

This is not a package to purchase to transfer your points to a partner airline program as it will end up costing you 3 cents per point. The value of these points will really only work to use for stays at Best Western hotels. There are eight redemption categories ranging from 8,000 to 36,000 points. The 10,000 points will only get you a free night at their lowest level redemption, so make sure the hotel you are looking to redeem at is more than $60/night.

This deal will go on sale at 1pm EST TODAY Wednesday June 26th. Availability is limited at 835 total, but my assumption is if you are interested in this package, you’ll be able to get one. Also remember, like all other Daily Getaway promotions, you’ll receive 10% off the purchase price if you use any American Express credit card.

  1. Not to forget, there are options to transfer points to AA and Delta at 3cpm, which might work out better for you if you are short of 1000 or so points for an award. Much better than buying on AA since there is a $30 processing charge, taxes, and most promotions only aim at higher end buys (20k points or more).
