Purchase Hertz Points at a Huge Discount!

Today’s Daily Getaway promotion is offering the opportunity to purchase Hertz points at a discount. Unfortunately, the availability is extremely limited and they went in seconds last year. There will be way more then 130 people looking to purchase this deal and I am personally not going to even waste my time. But for those first 130 lucky folks, this will be a nice discount for the future!

  • 5,500 points for $280 (45 available)
  • 13,200 points for $560; cost (35 available)
  • 16,500 points for $698; cost (50 available)

These packages can be an awesome value if you are able to purchase them! For example, a free one day weekend rental typically requires 550 points. You can look at the awards chart here. By purchasing points through this sale, that one day rental will essentially cost you between $25-$28. If you can typically get a car rental for less than this, then this is not the deal for you. If you are looking at renting a car in an expensive location or time period, then this can work out – think about ski vacations or during the holiday time. Also, with multiple day rentals the cost per day goes down as you get a little break. This is for a standard reservation only. An “anytime” reservation will cost you double when there are blackout dates or peak time periods.

Before purchasing the points, you must have a Hertz Gold Plus Rewards member number. If you’re not already a member, you can sign up here. Hertz points do not expire, however, you must keep your account activate every 24 months.

This deal will go on sale at 1pm EST TODAY April 19, 2018. As I mentioned above, these packages will sell out within a second. While I will not be wasting my time due to the limited packages, if you want to test your luck I suggest getting your computer out a few minutes prior and continuously refreshing your browser.
