Purchase JetBlue Points with up to 50% Bonus

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners, such as American Express. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

Through July 31, 2013, JetBlue is offering a bonus when purchasing TruBlue points.

  • Purchase 2,000 – 9,500 points, get a 20% bonus
  • Purchase 10,000 – 19,500 points, get a 30% bonus
  • Purchase 20,000 – 29,500 points, get a 40% bonus
  • Purchase 30,000 points, get a 50% bonus

This promotion is only valuable for those looking to top off an award. Since JetBlue has a sorta fixed redemption program, purchasing points with the hope to redeem for less isn’t possible like is it with some other airlines (Delta, US Airways, American Airlines, United, etc.). But if you are looking to use your existing points to redeem for a free flight and are shy some points, this could be worthwhile.

You can purchase points in 500 point increments and the maximum number of points you can purchase through this promotion is 30,000 points.

You can purchase points here.

  1. I love flying Jetblue but hate their program. Because their award pricing is tied to (I’m assuming) fare buckets and seat inventory, it can change on a moment’s notice, yet if you buy points, they ask you to allow 72 hrs for points to post. Unless you’re shooting for an award well in advance, it’s quite risky.
