Ready…Set…Go… Registration Now Open for Radisson 50,000 Point Promotion

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

UPDATE: As of 1:30pm EST time on 11/11/11, you can still register for the 50,000 promotion! Once 50,000 people have registered the site will automatically switch over to the 15,000 promotion. By tweeting Radisson I was able to find this out. To  get the latest news, make sure to follow me up Twitter! It has been fun!

The registration for Radisson’s 50,000 point promotion is now open! GO!

Register to earn 50,000 Club Carlson (Radisson) points. This is limited to the first 50,000 people crazy enough to stay up till midnight EST time. If you went to bed, not to worry – I have a feeling there will still be some people able to get it in the morning, and if not, you are still eligible for 15,000 points

To earn these points, you must then stay at any Radisson or Radisson Blu Hotel in the US, Canada, or Caribbean between November 10th and December 30th. It must be a Radisson or Radisson Blu Hotel, not another brand within the Club Carlson Group.

Read more about the promotion from my post earlier today.

Also, to help others out, feel free to post any inexpensive Radisson hotels you find in your local area. One reader already found one for $70 in Jacksonville. I will update this page with all of the locations and the rate. Enjoy your free night!

Orlando has a couple well-sub-$100 properties.

Just watch out for the ++s. There may be resort fees or parking fees.

The website is a bit clunky in making it difficult to find the actual properties in a state. Similar to IHG, it lists every city known to man but may or may not have a property there. I finally ditched “reservations” as a tool and went to PDF hotel directory to find out where the few Florida Radissons are.

Do we have to stay at a radisson only to get 50k points? Will country inn or other club carlson brands also net us these points? Secondly, will making a reservation and then a no-show will also qualify? Just exploring my options. 🙂

@Vinay – It has to be a Radisson or Radisson Blu property. With no-shows there is no guarantee. You can try calling the hotel and see if they will put you through the system.

Set alarm for 11:58pm, easy and well designed sign-up page, was back to sleep by 12:10am. Thanks for the reminder.

@Vinay, from the original post:

It must be a Radisson or Radisson Blu Hotel, not another brand within the Club Carlson Group.

Radisson in Dallas over Christmas day is $59 before taxes, pre-pay. Best deal for me. Haven’t checked a lot of other dates, but figured that day would be about the cheapest.

@Acker. Same here. Wish I knew if it worked for 50K.

I just registered this morning (in ATL) and the registration process concluded saying “Congratulations” you are registered but does not state if I’m one of the first 50,000. I called customer service and the agent confirmed that I am one of the 50K. She said they will take down the spill about the 50K at the top of the step 3 registration page once 50K has been reached and display the 15K info. Hopefully their PR dept will release something official today. In the meantime, no Radissons in ATL..darn it!

@Lettie – If you registered before 10am CST then you are eligible.

Thanks for the response. I also see some of the radisson rates (the cheapest ones) mention in the instructions that “no points will be awarded”. Will it apply for this promotion as well? Any clue anyone?

@Vinay – some rates do not award points, i.e., government rates, friends & family rates, etc. I will include a post showing readers how to check to see if their rate is eligible

I called Radisson resies and reviewed 2 resies with the CSR. She told me both had eligible rates (AAA/Sr) and the hotel is eligible. I had made the resies yesterday in fear of rates popping with the promo (they didn’t, BTW). I also tried a second time to register last night, using GP# instead of email, and received a message saying I was already registered. I guess I trust it as much as I can (without docs in hand) right now.

I just tried to re-register to see what would happen, since it still appears to be the 50k offer (14:43 MST on Friday.)
.
I used the club number and got a nice big red box saying “You are already registered and 50,000 points will be awarded at the completion of a qualifying stay.”
.
Screen shot? You know it!
