Reminder: Last Day for 4x JetBlue Points (15 points per dollar spent!)

Last week I posted that JetBlue is running a great bonus promotion on reservations booked by end of day today, April 10th. This is valid for travel through June 19th. You MUST register for this promotion prior to booking your reservation.

With this promotion, when a reservation is booked on, you’ll earn a total of 15 points per dollar spent. This is a great bonus offer and while JetBlue doesn’t have a cut and dry redemption program (like Southwest, for example), you can probably think of this as about a 20% return on your flight (to use for a future JetBlue flight). For example, a $500 roundtrip flight (not including taxes/fees) will give you a total of 7,500 points. A free one-way redemption ticket starts at 5,000 points. The 7,500 points can typically always be redeemed for a $100 flight (probably even less points required), so this is where I am getting the 20% rebate. You might even get a slightly higher rebate.

JetBlue is also running a two-day sale with fares started at $59, so you might be able to find some discounted flights today as well – although this is a promotion that runs quite frequently.

There are also a few other JetBlue promos going on, so you can combine them all and really maximize the points you earn.

  • Get 5,000 bonus points after flying three roundtrips (or six one-ways) on paid JetBlue flights. Blog Post.
  • If you take 10 one-way flights of 1,600 miles+, you’ll get 10,000 bonus points. Learn more on JetBlue site.
