Some New Amex Offers are Still Working on Multiple Accounts!

A few weeks ago the devastating news came out that Amex Offers was limiting their offers to once per account regardless of how many American Express credit cards you had. Many folks, myself included, used to be able to take advantage of an individual offer MANY times and profit a ton of money. But it looks like this multiple browser trick loophole is no longer available. While you can still take advantage of Amex Offers, they are definitely not nearly as lucrative as they used to be. At the time of figuring this out, it looked like all previous offers were still in tact and could be added to the card multiple times, but new offers were really being limited to once per account. When trying to add an offer to another card after it was added to the first card, you’d receive a notice saying: “Sorry about that! The offer you selected has already been added to one of your Card.”

This morning a generous Marriott offer came available and I was actually able to add the offer to all my accounts where the offer appeared. Unlike the JetBlue offer that I included above, it did not give me a “too bad” notice and instead told me that my offer was added, and that was on all American Express credit cards I have.

I added the offer first thing this morning and when I log out of my American Express account and sign back in, it still shows the offer available in the “Added to Card” tab (hours later). Of course this might go away later today or at some other point this week, but for now it shows. Even if it does stay in tact, I do believe the statement credit will be automatically trigger on multiple cards (just my assumption, my guarantee).

Where you able to add the offer to multiple cards? Fingers crossed this is not a glitch and instead many offers in the future will continue to work like this!

Success – I was able to add the Marriott offer to two of my accounts – SPG and Delta. Did not expect the offer to show up on the Hilton credit cards
