Although the Southwest personal credit card offers expired today publicly, they are still available through referral links. The referral link offers are set to expire Feb. 18, 2020 so if you missed out on these great offers, there is still time. If you have a friend or family member with the card, ask them to generate a referral for you and they’ll receive 10,000 bonus points. Or, feel free to leave your referral link in the comments section below for others to use. (I purposely have let mine out as I have maxed out my referrals and would love for others to earn more points from referring friends).

Now, while 75,000 points is a great offer from the personal cards, you can do even better! The Southwest Rapid Rewards® Performance Business Credit Card has now publicly increased their offer to 100,000 bonus points. The only sticking point is that it requires a decent amount of minimum spend to get the full number of points.

Earn the Southwest Companion Pass with one credit card!

Aside from the bonus points earned, the real appeal to this offer is that you can earn the amazing Southwest Companion Pass with just one credit card offer. All points earned from the credit card — both sign up offer points and regular spend points — are qualifying Companion Pass points. To earn the pass you need to earn 125,000 qualifying points and this card will do just that. You’ll earn a total of 100,000 bonus points from the sign up offer, plus an additional 25,000 points from credit card spend. That will give you 125,000 points immediately.

Fly for free on Southwest

In addition to earning the Southwest Companion Pass, you’ll also earn points to fly for free on Southwest. Southwest points are worth approximately 1.5 cents per point on Southwest “Wanna Getaway” fares. This puts a value on the 100,000 points earned at $1,500 towards Southwest travel.

Overall…

If you are looking to increase your Southwest account balance or looking to earn the Southwest Companion Pass, now is a great time to do so. We’ve never seen this high of an offer before.

We are a big Southwest family and I have personally been a Southwest Companion Pass holder for the past 12 years. It has saved my family tens of thousands of dollars. I also love Southwest’s flexibility since we can change and cancel our flights and get flights re-priced if they decrease in the number of points required. Those are two huge perks for us.
