Earlier today I posted that if you take 2 roundtrip (or 4 one-way) Northeast regional Amtrak trips during the promotional dates, you’ll get 1 free roundtrip regional ride (or 2 one-ways) to use this summer. For those of you who prefer the Acela over the Regional train, reader B commented that there was another version of the promotion for Acela specific trips. The terms and the dates of the promotion are quite similar, except this one requires 3 roundtrip (or 6 one-ways) for 1 free roundtrip Acela ride (or two one-ways) to use this summer.

Terms:

  • Take three qualifying roundtrips (or 6 one-ways) on Acela January 7 through March 2 and earn one free roundtrip
  • The free roundtrip (or 2 one-ways) can be used on the Acela for travel July 1 through August 29
  • Minimum spend of $90 per one-way segment is required for travel to qualify
  • A maximum of 4 one-way vouchers may be earned
