Discounted Parking at JFK Airport

Amazon Local is selling parking vouchers at JFK airport for $21 at to be used for 3 nights of valet parking SmartPark JFK. They claim this is a $47.85 value, which I believe. I park at offsite JFK parking locations quite often since I live in NYC and have a car, and typically, even after finding the least expensive offsite parking deal, I am still paying about $12/day + tax. I personally find the service at these offsite parking locations to be great and the buses run quite frequently (at least every 5 minutes). This is a limited time deal and will be available until Monday September 9 or until sold out. I also just did a quick search for a 72 hour reservation using Airport Parking Reservations which consolidates the price of many parking options in the area, and found the least expensive rates to be $12.95/day + tax (findings below).

If you park at JFK often, this is a great deal. The only caveat is that you have to use it for a three night stay and cannot receive a reimbursement for any nights not used. If you are staying longer than three nights they have other options as well. Here are the three options:

  • $21 ($47.85 value) for a three-day JFK Airport parking pass (if your stay is four days, buy the three-day pass and still only pay $7 for the additional day)
  • $35 ($79.75 value) for a five-day JFK Airport parking pass (if your stay is six days, buy the five-day pass and still only pay $7 for the additional day)
  • $49 ($111.65 value) for a seven-day JFK Airport parking pass (if your stay is eight or more days, buy the seven-day pass and still only pay $7 for each additional day)

All vouchers must be redeemed by November 22, 2013.

Terms & conditions:

  • Sold by SmartPark JFK
  • Limit 2 vouchers per option (6 total) per purchaser; additional 2 vouchers per option (6 total) may be sent as gifts
  • Limit 6 voucher redemptions per individual
  • Limit 1 voucher per vehicle per trip

  • Merchant cancellation/re-scheduling policy of 24 hours applies; voucher subject to forfeiture
  • $3 fuel charge applies for each reservation paid at checkout
  • Additional $0.75 airport access fee applies for each day of parking paid at checkout

  1. Mrs. Deals,
I’m surprised at you. I’ve been parking for free in Howard Beach for the past 5 years. There is no alternate side parking in the neighborhood. Your only cost is a R/T on the Air Train. I’ve never parked more than 4 short city blocks from the station.
Please note that NYC parking laws forbid parking for more than 7 days.

    • @dhammer53 – haha. I’ve known about the free parking alternatives but haven’t really wanted to leave my car there for multiple days. Also haven’t wanted to be there late at night. Although I am y judging without actually ever being there.

  2. Several years ago, there was just one report of vehicle damage, but that car was from MASS!! TeeHee!

Remember not to block any driveways.

  3. I’m going to be driving from Illinois to New Hampshire in early October. I’ll be spending a couple of nights at a friend’s place in Morningside Heights. Any recommendations for free/cheap parking somewhere in/around Manhattan or NYC in general? I’ll have my bike and am not opposed to riding it pretty far to save a few bucks.

  4. Michael,
You can park for free on the streets in this neighborhood. Just read (and re-read) the signs. NYC has alternate side parking Monday – Friday.
