Hertz just announced a new promotion where you can earn up to triple points on all rentals. Additionally, just for registering for the promotion, regardless if you partake or not you’ll earn 25 points for free. This promotion runs January 7 through March 25, 2015.

With this offer, you’ll earn double points on your first rental and then triple points on every other rental during the promotional time frame.

There are very little stipulations for this promotion which is great! It just needs to be a paid rental that earns Gold Plus Rewards points. For example, many corporate rates do not earn points as well as reservations made with a third-party booking reservation site. To be eligible for this promotion you must register PRIOR TO your rental.

If you are new to Hertz you will need to sign up for an account now and then wait 48 hours until you can register for the promotion.

Thanks to Mommy Points for sharing this promotion!

  1. Hi Deals – I am not sure which is best option so would like your opinion. Looking at booking a car for 5 days in UK (books at 1 week rate). I have a biz account which gives me 1 free rental for every 15 days. i assume this will not get me the Gold Pass bonus. i could book on a AAA rate for same price of 146 USD. Would this get the bonus and which is the better deal? Many thanks. LF

    • @Levy Flight – I might not be reading your question correctly, but why wouldn’t the 5 day rental give you Hertz points? You mentioned a business account, but are you using a business corporate rate that doesn’t earn points? Most CPD codes do earn points.

AAA rate will get you the points. I guess it depends on if you typically earn 15 days in the year or not and if your CPD code disqualifies you for earning points.
