Yesterday was the day people either love or hate – tax day. While filing taxes is beyond daunting, many people hope to earn a nice tax refund from the government. Owing the government money is never fun, although I actually prefer it vs. over paying them throughout the year. But that is me.

For those that owe money, JetBlue is running a giveaway where you can hopefully earn a free flight. If you win, the one-way certificate will be valid between May 1, 2017 and June 17, 2017. Unfortunately, this is quite a short window, but if you have some upcoming travel this might be a great opportunity! The one way flight is also only valid for flights within the US. This is also only valid for those that live in the contiguous 48 United States, DC, and Alaska. You also must be 18 years or older. While technically this is only for those that paid taxes, there really is no way of JetBlue knowing that.

You can enter this giveaway once per day through April 25, 2017. There will be 66 winners every day for the first 14 days of the promotion period, and then 76 winners for the last and final day. Overall, a total of 1,000 people will win! The ironic thing about this giveaway is that you will actually have to pay taxes on the free one-way flight. JetBlue is putting a $150 amount on the prize, although your one way flight might cost more or less.

Thanks to Angelina Travels for pointing out this giveaway!
