Welcome to another post of helping a reader travel! As I’ve mentioned before, I have not been to every destination (unfortunately), but do get questions from friends and other blog readers on all sort of travel destination questions. Thus far, we’ve been able to help other readers travel to Maui, The Greek Islands, The Pacific Coast Highway, Argentina, Costa Rica, Cape Cod & The Islands, and Iceland.
So this weeks travel destination includes Geneva. I received the following email from reader Susan:
“My husband has a conference in Geneva and I decided to join him for the week. The conference is taking place at the Starwood property so we are set for a hotel, but now need to look into flights. We are flying from New York, but are open to flying elsewhere in seeing another city first and then taking the train to Geneva. Any suggestions on where else we can fly into to spend a few days? Also, once we are in Geneva, any suggestions on things to do and see? Thank you so much!”
This sounds like a great trip and a nice hotel to stay at on the companies dime! Mr. Deals actually flew into Geneva for a work trip, but unfortunately was not able to spend any time in the city. Upon arrival, he immediately took the train to a small village called Montreux, which he said was absolutely beautiful! He also said that the trains through Switzerland are by far the best way to go. The country side is amazing!
